Prescient Global Solutions, a service-disabled veteran owned small business, is seeking highly skilled, knowledgeable, and self-motivated Japanese Interpreters to support a government contract. Our ideal candidates will have a great attention to detail and an excellent work ethic.

The interpreter shall provide interpretation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese.

Interpretation services may range from simple to complex and are sensitive in nature.

This position may include potential travel opportunities.

• Must be able to interpret in a work environment that involves a variety of technical terms and acronyms.
• Manage challenging or complex language situations, such as technical terminology or dialectal variations, with proficiency and professionalism.
• Adapt language and tone to the context and cultural nuances of the conversation, conveying messages effectively and sensitively.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• The ability to perform in a challenging, creative, and formal working environment.
• Must have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact with members from various backgrounds.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of three (3) years working as an interpreter or in a related field must be reflected in your resume.
• Skilled at simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
• Must be able to transliterate fluently and understand the continuum of language communication.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and written.
• Ability to commute to Point Mugu, CA.
• Native fluency or near native fluency in Japanese.
