Job Title: DEA/ICE Cleared Linguist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled linguist with a current security clearance through the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and translating foreign language materials related to narcotics trafficking or immigration enforcement, and providing linguistic support to DEA or ICE operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze foreign language materials related to narcotics trafficking or immigration enforcement, including documents, audio recordings, and video recordings.
• Translate and interpret foreign language materials into English.
• Provide linguistic support to DEA or ICE operations, including field work as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of linguistic analysis tools and techniques.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all translations and analyses.

Requirements:

• Must have a current security clearance through the DEA or ICE.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or a related field.
• Fluency in at least one foreign language, with a focus on a language commonly used in narcotics trafficking or immigration enforcement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the target language(s).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate complex foreign language materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work in various locations as needed.
