I am very interested in becoming a Spanish Linguist/ Interpreter as a contractor for your company. My professional career has been devoted to research, linguistics, interpreting and translation modern Spanish to English and viceversa. Before I graduated college, I translated legal, medical and law enforcement documents as freelancer. I can service your legal interpreting needs since I had been working in similar environments where accuracy and professionalism has been the norm.

I have worked as a freelancing analytic linguist (English and Spanish) at MetLang (—a subcontractor for DEA) and an over the phone legal interpreter at Lionbridge, a multicultural language services company. I am currently a medical interpreter for VOYCE. I am seeking a position as a full time legal translator interpreter. I have two years experience interpreting with immigration court hearings, credible fear screenings, review of the negative determinations, and asylum hearings.

My early background was in journalism. I am analytical, detailed oriented, andan avid researcher. I do have a basic understanding of French language and Portuguese. I am have a medical interpreter certification by NBCMI in Spanish and I am currently pursuing my federal interpreter certification.
