Prescient Technologies (dba Prescient Global Solutions) is a leading provider of language services, specializing in interpreting, transcription, and translation services for government agencies. We are currently seeking dynamic Project Managers to oversee the execution of a high-profile linguist services contract. This position will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, quality control, and adherence to project KPIs. The position is contingent upon award of a contract.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the scheduling and deployment of linguists nationwide, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements, maintaining quality control processes, and providing oversight to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a diverse team of personnel across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Personnel Scheduling & Management:

  • Develop and manage schedules for linguists across multiple regions, ensuring coverage for all assignments and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with recruitment and HR teams to onboard new linguists and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified personnel.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to meet surge demands and manage unplanned absences, ensuring continuity of service.
  • Implement and manage a robust Quality Control Plan aligned with ISO 9001 and 17100 standards to ensure all services meet the DEA’s stringent requirements.
  • Perform regular audits and spot checks on linguist performance, reviewing accuracy and timeliness of work delivered (translations, transcriptions, and interpretations).
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve quality control processes, coordinating with internal teams and the client to ensure adherence to best practices.

Linguist Oversight:

  • Provide direct oversight and support to linguists in the field, ensuring they are properly briefed and equipped to meet DEA requirements.
  • Track and resolve any performance issues or discrepancies, ensuring linguists adhere to all operational standards, security protocols, and performance guidelines.
  • Ensure all linguists are properly trained and briefed on project expectations, minimization requirements, and handling of sensitive information.

KPI Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track project KPIs, including on-time delivery, accuracy, client satisfaction, and other performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project performance, identifying any potential risks or areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with DEA representatives and internal teams to ensure KPIs are aligned with contractual obligations and expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a government contracting or language services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-regional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with government agencies, particularly in law enforcement, is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with linguists, clients, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Unanet, MS Project, etc.).
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and report on KPIs, with attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required by the DEA.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
